Word of Life Christian Center (WLCC) is a Jesus centered, charismatic, Bible believing, non-denominational fellowship dedicated to following the leading of the Holy Spirit in fulfilling the Great Commission in Davis and throughout the world.

Growing in Love – Jesus’ “Love Revolution”
God is love and His love is in us when we believe Jesus is the Son of God. Loving others is the mark of Christian authenticity. We at believe that by abiding in Jesus and His grace we will love others as Jesus loved us (John 13:34, 35).
We want to be disciples of Jesus. Our family and friends and the world will know that we are his disciples by loving one another.

Teaching from World Class Christian Leaders
During the church services and Bible studies the leadership team of WLCC takes you deep into the Word of God. WLCC also provides you with group Bible studies and individual study options every week including prerecorded messages from well known and world class Christian ministers.
We also recognize that for you to mature in Christ you need teaching from ministers outside our local church. To help you receive the spiritual nutrition you need, Pastor Art invites proven ministers to be guest speakers at WLCC and lets you know when outstanding speakers will be in your area. Learning to Hear God’s Voice
Jesus only said and did what the Father told or showed Him, and taught that “my sheep hear my voice”. You can learn to accurately discern God’s voice. At WLCC, we offer you the same Biblically sound teachings on communing with God that have helped us hear His voice.
Prayer Meetings
You probably know that Davis, the U.S., and the world, desperately needs Christ and that prayer is the first step in awakening the church and reaching the lost. You are welcome to join us in prayer for revival and other needs at our daily prayer meeting from 7 – 8:30 am at the church office (219 “E” Street, Suite C).
Pastoral and Professional Counseling
Pastor Art accepted Christ as a UCD student in 1973 and has served the Lord in a local church in Davis for over thirty years. His wise pastoral counseling has assisted hundreds of Davis residents in learning to overcome the spiritual and psychological stresses faced by Davis residents and UCD students.
Pastor Art is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. For more than thirty years he has specialized in helping Christians resolve their emotional, mental, behavioral and relationship issues.
Pastor Art is friendly. Feel free to call him or try dropping in to chat with him at the WLCC’s office at 219 “E” Street, Suite C. He is usually available Monday – Friday 10 am – 5:30 pm.
Joining the Worship Team
Worship at WLCC is all about glorifying God the Father in Spirit and in truth. The Holy Spirit leads the Worship Team in helping the congregation to enter into intimate and joyful fellowship with the Father.
Worship at WLCC is expressed through contemporary songs, classic Christian hymns, spontaneous songs of the Lord, jubilant high praises or quiet times of intimate communion. The Father enjoys our unified appreciation of Him by manifesting His presence in our church services.

Enjoying Fellowship
In addition to the fellowship opportunities that come from being in church services and Bible studies, you are invited to come to “Pizza Night“, a fun time of fellowship every Wednesday @ 7pm @ Round Table Pizza (2151 Cowell Blvd., Suite A).
